When to apply?
Apply before travel. An e-Visa clearance is required at entry points.
Visa Application Process
- Plan & book your trip (directly or via licensed Bhutanese tour operator).
- Submit documents & pay visa fee + Sustainable Development Fee (SDF).
- Application is reviewed by the Department of Immigration.
- Receive your e-Visa clearance by email.
- Show clearance at airport/border — visa endorsed in passport.
